Cabo San Lucas
This fall we were finally able to join Myke’s parents on a trip to Mexico, something they’d been inviting along for a while now. Myke was excited to see what the scuba diving was like there, while James was more interested in the food. Luckily for us, there was plenty of both!

Hawaiʻi, Oʻahu, and Kauaʻi
After his second winter in snowy Lake Tahoe, Myke was ready to defrost somewhere warm. With our (supposed) return to office date quickly approaching we decided it was a good time to cash out the Hyatt points we earned from our wedding first anniversary event. Myke had wanted to return to Hawaii for years now, since our last trip in 2019. He also wanted James to finally get his scuba certification, something he’d been hinting would be far more fun in the warm waters off Kauai than the cold and murky kelp fields in Monterey.

Iceland
This year we took our first real vacation in several years to Iceland, with our friends Jeremy & Jillian (who planned most of the trip), and Harris. It was the first time for either of us, and we had a great time discovering the country. The scenery was brutal and breathtaking, with huge waterfalls, fields of lava rock and grass, mountains, and glaciers.
First Anniversary
Our first wedding anniversary at Incline Village, where we finally got to have the party we postponed due to COVID-19. If you’d like full-resolution copies of any photos you’re in, just text us.

Antarctic Engagement
In March we took a trip to Antartica to fulfill Myke‘s personal goal of visiting all seven continents. It was already set to be memorable experience, but James had plans to steal the show by proposing, and surprising no one Myke said yes.
